I absolutely LOVED the book. The characters, the places; the love. Everything was so delicious. But Sarah Jessica Parker is not Cornelia. Someone more like...Audrey Tatou... if she was English. I almost wish they weren't making a movie of my newest addition to my favorite books list. Preserving characters and scenes in my imagination is so much harder when someone else's ideas are thrust against mine.

P.S. Who didn't want to steal Linny away and make her your best friend?

:)

Thanks a lot for the info!

Peng, the Times warehouse sale is indeed on. It'll be held on the 1st Floor, The Atria Shoping Centre, Damansara Jaya. Preview for members is tomorrow and the sale will be open to the public on the 23rd. Check out the ad in The Metro pullout of The Star pg22.

Hi there, this is something unrelated to the post. I know the MPH warehouse sale is coming up but is the Times warehouse sale coming up as well? I thought I heard something about it.

January 2010: Genichiro Yagyu: Breasts (My Body Science)
"My Body Science" series approaches bodily functions and body parts in a matter of fact and humorous way that one would probably not encounter in books published in the United States and Britain. Nevertheless, "Breasts" and its companion books like "Everyone Poops", "The Gas We Pass" and "All About Scabs" have a loyal following on both sides of the Atlantic. The English translations are published by Kane/Miller, an American imprint that specialises in multicultural books. (***)
