Today I received an email from Alan Snow, author of How Santa Really Works! It's a thrill  when a writer reads and acknowledges a review of his work: I've pasted the email below:

Dear Daphne, Thank you for your comments and I am really glad you liked the book.

If it is of interest I am working on something rather different at the
moment (moment ha! its been 2 years) and review copies will be available by next spring. Its a very heavily illustrated novel for children and will be
the first of a trilogy (written and illustrated by me).
