I'll make this as short and painless as possible. YTSL over at Webs of Significance tagged me. She named the six weird things about herself in this post and now I am supposed to name the same about myself.
I can't think of anything I consider weird about myself so I will list things I know some people think are weird about me:
1. I swear in front of my children.
2. I have no objections to my sons wearing pink and playing with dolls.
3. It annoys me when people buy nothing but pink clothes for my daughter.
4. I loathe being called Mrs.
5. I get REALLY MAD when people use irrelevant racial prefixes in their conversation. Like, "I was in a jam and I saw a Malay man in the next car picking his nose."
6. I often buy books for newly weds instead of giving them money in a red packet.
I hope that was weird enough.
P.S. To bring this post back on topic, Wyrd Sisters is a very funny book by Terry Pratchett. It's one of the Discworld series that features witches, including my favourite witch (my hero) Granny Weatherwax.
P.P.S Oh god, do I really have to tag six people? Do I know six people with blogs? And do they even read this blog???
OK, here goes ...
Oh, to hell with it ...
Heya Daphne!
Aiya, you tagged me? Actually Bibliobibuli did the same already, but it'll take me some time before I can get around it but I am intrigued by this... will let you know when I get it done.
Have a good week ahead! :)
Cheers,
Kenny.

The Wikipedia describes Technorati as "an internet search engine focused on the world of weblogs". Its main URL is as follows:-
http://www.technorati.com/
And okay, I take back that you think you're boring. But, yeah, at least one person I know has equated weird with interesting... ;D
Also, oooo...possible "weird/interesting" thing about you #3: You regularly make allusions to such as "Granny Weatherwax" (who, not yet having read Terry Pratchett, I have to admit to doing an internet search for in order to figure out who she is)! :b
More seriously though, I found this "weird things" meme a lot of fun to do. But the distinct impression I get is that the people I've tagged don't share my view on this... ;(

Hi there Y! No I don't know why Technorati doesn't know I exist. Maybe it has something to do with me not knowing what the hell Technorati is!
I don't think I'm boring! That would mean that I thought that being weird necessarily made you interesting, which I don't think is always the case.
As for children's books ... I guess some crazy people would consider that weird ;-) And no, I wouldn't consider them crazy, just ignorant.
Those authors like Goudge ... I prefer widely read and willing to experiment. Also, I'm not a slave to trends. If that makes me weird then I'm happy to be counted. It would make me kin to Granny Weatherwax perhaps? :-)

P.S. For what it's worth, found the tagging 6 other people bit difficult too. And while we're on the subject of knowing few people with blogs, do you have any idea why Technorati doesn't seem to recognize the existence of your blog?

Hi Daph --
Like I just wrote on another person's blog: This is interesting. I've got responses from three people I tagged thus far. All of them (including you) think they're boring and don't have many weird things about myself. I, OTOH, feel that there are lots of weird things about myself. Hmmm, am I weird for thinking this? ;(
Also, here's volunteering two book-related things about you (and me) that people might consider weird:-
1) You're an adult who still reads childrens books.
2) You've heard about -- and have read the books of -- now unfashionable/obscure English writers like R. F. Delderfield and Elizabeth Goudge! ;b
