I really have been neglecting this blog. I don't know how bloggers post every day. I'm guessing they aren't single mothers of three, with fulltime jobs as well as a couple of part-time ones ... And if they are, then I am really impressed!
I was considering killing The Places You Will Go, but then I know that there are people out there who read my column and book reviews here instead of in StarMag/StarTwo. So, I will continue to post all that here, as well as update the Picture Book of the Month list.
I have a week's leave coming up so there will probably be a burst of activity then.
But I do know that this blog is beginning to look very pathetic indeed.
Hi Daphne
I just wanted to say I enjoy your blog and on Sept. 13 will be mentioning it on mine (www.timetowrite.blogs.com). I write my posts in little batches and the schedule them for daily release, but i also enjoy several blogs where the writer posts only once a week or so--it's the quality, not the quantity, so keep up the good work on whatever schedule works for you.

It's good that you decide to stick with your blog even though you are still ambivalent about carrying on. You do have a very nice blog here which I'm sure you have spent a great deal of time creating. It will be a great loss if you let it go.
It's just a thought ... I think your blog will be livelier with more reader participation if you write about books for adults besides children's literature.
